Pupil Premium

Early Years Pupil Premium is for children who are 3 and 4 years old and who meet the eligibility criteria. They are funded at a rate of 68p an hour for 2023-2024 which equates to £387.60 per year. EYPP is payable only on the universal 15 hours entitlement and not on the additional 15 hours entitlement for working parents.
The funding the setting receives can be used to support children in various ways:
  • environment
  • communication and language approaches
  • digital technologies
  • early literacy approaches
  • early numeracy approaches
  • physical development approaches
  • play based learning
  • self-regulation strategies
  • social and emotional learning strategies
We get paid this money in three instalments through the year and encourage parents involvement in deciding what resources or training is purchased to support the children's holistic development.
