Pre-school Practitioner Vacancies

1:1 Early Years Practitioner Position Part-time, Fixed Term Contract, Term Time Only (dependent on funding).

This post will be dependent on Early Years funding, however, currently we are looking for someone to support a child in our setting between 12 hours a week, across three days (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday). Salary will be dependent on qualification and experience. The post is fixed term contract until the end of the academic year (17^th July 2026); dependent on Early Years funding. Potential Start Date: ASAP

The post will be a fixed term contract until the end of the academic year (17^th July 2026); dependent on Early Years funding. The child is currently having an EHCNA therefore there is potential for this role to continue into the 2026-2027 academic year either at the Pre-school setting or adjacent Primary School depending on parents decision for school starting year.

We are looking for a kind and caring individual who is enthusiastic, uses their initiative and is very patient and adaptable. Applicants do not need to have childcare qualifications however a minimum appropriate Level 3 qualification would be desirable but not essential. Applicants will develop a good knowledge of the EYFS, be able to work as part of an established team and develop excellent communication skills.
