Within St Joseph's Pre-school the setting creates an inclusive environment for all children to thrive. The team have worked alongside Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) Early Years Inclusion Advisor, Steph Kirby, during 2025 and have evaluated their practice and the environment and have made relevant changes to best support the children in their care.
The Pre-school SENDCo is Natalie Finn-Powers who holds the NCFE CACHE LEVEL 3 AWARD FOR SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS COORDINATORS IN EARLY YEARS SETTINGS.
St Joseph's Pre-school follows Gloucestershire's graduated pathway, reviewing the child's stage on the pathway at least every 8-12 weeks. The setting will work alongside relevant external agencies to ensure that each child in the setting receives the support they need to succeed in their early education.
