House Captains

Here are our very excited house captains being presented with their badges. Congratulations to all of you!

Falcons - Isabelle D'Arcy and Naomi Price

Dear Falcons,
Firstly, thank you for voting for me as your house captain - I’m extremely proud to represent our falcon’s family and I will not let you down!

Normally, you would be able to come to me and discuss our plans but unfortunately, due to COVID we are not able to mix bubbles.  Therefore, I am going to write to Mrs Howells to request a Falcon’s email address for each class, so that you can talk to me and Naomi in a safe way.

In the meantime, let’s try our best to get our marbles in so they we are top off the league in celebration assembly on Friday,  REACH in all that we do and be the team full of hope and passion. WE WILL NOT LET COVID BEAT US!

R is for resilience never give up

E is for empathy always be kind to others

A is for aspirations always follow your dreams

C is for confidence always believe in yourself

And finally H is for high expectations always be the best you can be

These are the centre of all that we do and with these in our heart, I’m sure that we will be the best team!

From Falcons House Captain

Isabelle D’Arcy

Thank you for voting for me to become your house captain. You did not make a mistake!

The first thing I will do as your house captain is make sure everyone in Falcons has a smile on their face. I will work my hardest to earn marbles, but you need to try your best to. We will represent the school by showing REACH in everything we do! We will do our best in any competitions and earn some great treats along the way.

Hawks - Joseph Staff and Leo Lai

Hello, I am Leo your new Hawks House Captain. In this message, I am going to tell you all about the first thing that I will do for you. But before that, I would like to thank everybody who voted for me and Joseph for making this dream come true. I am also very sorry for the people who didn’t get this role.

For my first move as house captain I will be encouraging you all to get as many marbles as you can so we can win the house treat at the end of the term. I have some brilliant ideas where we don’t need to mix bubbles. You can get marbles by:

  • Helping somebody who is hurt or lonely,
  • Being kind to a teacher or,
  • Doing some outstanding work.

Thank you for reading this, I will hopefully write to you every 1-2 weeks. Goodbye for now.

Hawks House Captain – Joseph Staff

We will always have a great time, even if we lose! Keep up with the smiling faces every day, and let’s show everyone who is boss! We are the fantastic, courageous and intelligent reds who can earn marbles while having fun!

Dear my fellow Eagles,

I would like to thank everyone who voted for me, and I am so grateful to be your House Captain for Eagles 2020. Like I promised, I will make sure that we work to succeed in everything. I would like you to work as hard as you can to earn as many marbles as possible. And when we have an upcoming event, to be the best you can be and REACH for the stars. If we work together, we can beat any obstacle in life.

In conclusion, work hard (but more importantly) have fun!
