St Peter's Class Blog - Autumn 2024
W/C 14th October 2024

Welcome back! It's been another very busy week here in St Peter's Class - we performed at the Key Stage One Harvest Festival, celebrated Father Philip's birthday at Class Mass and enjoyed a wonderful cake sale for Macmillan - which was lead by the lovely Year 3 class.

On Friday, we enjoyed an insightful Outdoor Learning lesson, where we explored our forest area to discover some minibeasts in their microhabitats. This links in with our current Science learning, and we discussed the minibeasts' suitability for living in their habitat. We used bug viewers to take a close-up look at the minibeasts - it was fascinating! Take a look at some pictures below.

Welcome to our first class blog of the year! We can't wait to share what we've been up to so far...

We have had a great week this week - we enjoyed a non-school uniform day on Monday, and we have been doing lots of Harvest Festival practice!

In our Science learning, we enjoyed learning about habitats all over the world - from Antarctica to the Gobi Desert!

We spent our DT lesson learning how to build strong wheels and axles, ready for our lesson on Monday, where we will be making our very own carts.

In English, we retold a fictional non-chronological report, all about the Frost Unicorn.

Altogether, it has been a very busy, but very fun, week!

Take a look at the photos below to see our highlights.
