We have had a fantastic Health Week in year 5.
We were able to take part in a football coaching session with Mr Jordan and have fun at the Sports Project.
Sports day was an absolute blast; we were so glad that it could go ahead and that the weather didn't spoil it for us. I was so proud of year 5 on Sports Day, for setting such an amazing example to the rest of the school.
On Wednesday, we learnt all about the digestive system and enjoyed a whole afternoon outside on the field. During our school picnic, we played rounders and enjoyed the fresh air with our friends.
Meeting Jack Rutter was another highlight of our week! I can't believe that we got to train with a professional English Paralympian. He was really cool and we learnt all about resilience and perseverance - even when times get tough.
On Friday, we will be learning about how to take care of our mental health. We can't wait.
Please see below for some snaps of this week!
