    My name is Miss McCarthy and I started at St Joseph’s in 2015. I have been fortunate enough to spend my whole teaching career being part of the Saint Joseph’s family, beginning my career in Year 1 and then moving to Reception. I am looking forward to welcoming and getting to know many new families throughout this academic year. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exercising and exploring the world.

    I love teaching – every day is different, full of exploration and fun! I am smiley and bubbly and use creative approaches in my teaching. In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, and walking my Sprocker Spaniel!

    Year 2 Class Teacher and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

    My name is Miss Jones and I started at St Joseph’s as an NQT in 2013, which means I am in my eighth year of teaching. When I’m not in school, I enjoy riding horses and visiting new places. During my time at university, I travelled Eastern and Central Europe.

    Hello, I am Mrs Lynham. I live with my husband and two children, Harry and George. We love going on walks, playing games, reading and cooking. This will be my first year as a teacher after completing a PGCE at Bath Spa University and I am so excited to be starting my teaching career with such an amazing class and being a part of the St Joseph’s family.

    I am the current Year 4 class teacher and I have been teaching at St Joseph’s for two fantastic years. This year, I have continued studying at the University of Gloucestershire whilst teaching full time to qualify as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator. I enjoy spending time with my family and going for walks in the countryside.

    Hello, I'm Miss Johnson. I have a real love for music, reading and going for long walks with my family. For the past 4 years, I have taught Year 5 in a Catholic primary school and I am very excited to join the St Joseph's family to continue my teaching career.

    As many of you already know, I am Miss Crisp. My teaching career has spread across four wonderful years, and I have been fortunate enough to spend all of these years being part of the warm and welcoming Saint Joseph’s family. When not in school, I enjoy spending time with my very much-loved dog, Winnie (taking walks in the countryside), and I additionally adore reading!

    Hello, my name is Charlotte Claridge, I am the new School Business Manager. I live with my husband and two children Harry and Charlie. I enjoy spending my free time with my family, going for long walks in the countryside and exploring hew destinations.

    I moved to Gloucestershire 15 years ago and have been involved with St Joseph’s since then as a volunteer, PTA secretary, clerk to Governors, midday supervisor and have been part of the Admin Team for 11 years. I like walking, love food (cooking and eating!) and spending time with family and friends and my 2 year old crazy Sprocker Florence.

    Hi, I am Mrs Barrett! I am a one to one in Saint George's class. I love my animals and when not in school, I enjoy walking with my son and dogs!

    I love St Joseph’s so much that I’ve worked here for over 15 years, mostly in Reception class but I do lots of cover in other classes . I am chaplaincy lead, First Aider and I plan and organise Activities and Sports day. The children all know I am very competitive and always want Eagles to win!! After a busy week at school, gardening, walking and sometimes a bit of running, I love nothing better than to sit in my garden with a glass of red wine, a big bar of chocolate and a good book.
